Raku fired vase, inspired by Irish landscape in blues and greens with a white crackle glaze. It is 26cm tall, and 8.5 cm square. Raku ceramic is fired to 1000 Degrees C, and placed in a combustion bin for smoking. During this process the smoke penetrates the pores of the clay and along crackle lines in the glaze. For this reason, Raku vases are decorative only. If you would like to put cut flowers in any raku vase, please use a glass container inside the vase. Not for food use.
